SPORTS COMPLEX
STUDENT HONOR AWARD BY THE FORT LAUDERDALE CHAPTER OF THE AIA
The objective of this design was to revitalize the campus life through Urban Design, as well as restore the preserve vegetation located on the north side, by allowing the trees to access back into the campus and reinforce the idea of creating a campus Green Belt. The program called for a Sports Complex located between the stadium and it’s parking structure.
The new icon for the school will serve as the heart of the athletics where TRAINING, RECRUITING, and SHOWCASING will take place.

The three main factors considered during this process was the connection and interaction between the Breezeway, University Drive, and the natural preserve behind the site.
